Facebook rolls out Improved Analytics for Websites, Applications and Pages

Having good analytics is key to a successful social media campaign. Facebook announced that they were launching an improved insights dashboard during f8 in April, but it would only be available to a select few until the public launch today.

Highlights of the improved insights dashboard:

This improved dashboard is integrating metrics for:
• Integrated websites and those enabled with social plugins.
• Applications (including mobile and desktop, etc).
• Pages created on Facebook.com (and those created by the Open Graph Protocol).

This means that you can now see what content the most popular on your website (according to Facebook “likes”) and which posts on your fan page had the most interaction, etc.

These new features also come with a new set of easy to use insight-visualization tools including a new demographics visualization tool which comes in handy when pooling audience information.

Go to this link to view your new and improved insights dashboard: http://www.facebook.com/insights and tell us what you think!

We can’t wait to start utilizing the new dashboard features!
